My family went shopping the Saturday after Thanksgiving and
I said out loud that I wanted to dress up; my dad shook his head, my sister sighed
and my mother groaned, “Please do not wear heels.” All I wanted to do was wear
heels, practical heels (if you can call any heel that). I have to wear flat
shoes when I am at work and that is all the time, so outside of work, I rather
dust off my shoe collection and wear some impractical (aka not work shoes)
shoes for a change. They were under the impression I was going to go all out,
per usual, but I just wanted to wear some heels (just booties), a tee and a
blazer with some skinnies, nothing major or over the top… just low maintenance.
