my current fall picks*

Oh dear... It is already September and Labor Day (the unofficial end marker of the summer) has come and gone. With the changing of the seasons, come many lovely silent joys... One of which, for me at least, is new nail polish lines and nail art trends.

At work we have had the fall essie, mattese elite and O.P.I. lines for what seems like ages. But I have refused to accept that it was time for the summer brights to be put away and fall colors to make their debut. But apparently it is. And even I, though obsessed with the care free summer colors, am looking forward to the muted fall flavors...

Though I have not completely given into the darker and more toned down colors of the cooler seasons, I have gone back to adding a little golden glitz to my darker shades. I am also going through a period of metalics (silver and essie's steeling the scene) which I think will go lovely with the burnt orange and navy combos I have been seeing, as well as the continued bright clothing trends for the fall.
